Registration for SpiritQuest 2011:

Sunday, July 17 — Saturday, July 23, 2011

SpiritQuest gives us the opportunity to live in community the old ways, with people of all ages. We encourage families to attend, and bring your children. Our prices this year have been adjusted to help make it more affordable for families. (There will also be special activities for children.)

Fees Include:

• All meals from Sunday night dinner – Saturday breakfast
• Meals are organic — including dairy-free, wheat-free and sugar-free options
• Spiritual activities throughout the week
• Parking

Fees Do Not Include:

• Showers are available to all participants, including tent campers, for an extra fee of $5/shower (charged at camp)
• Donations for the Native Ceremonies to the intercessor, camp elders, camp security, and other key individuals (as explained below)
• Snacks and/or special foods you may desire

Donations for Ceremonies
Understanding fees and donations in context of Native ceremonies.

Fees for this ceremonial week cover actual costs only, but they do not compensate key individuals for the gift of their immense time and energy in creating and offering SpiritQuest. For example, an average donation for just attending one sweat lodge would be $60-75 and participants at Quest have opportunities to participate in multiple ceremonies. Fees for spiritual activities cover firewood, property rental, licenses, transportation, etc.

Fees are kept modest so that all individuals can attend, including people who are on limited/fixed incomes, or are living modestly as part of their spiritual learning.

Additional donations for ceremonial services are greatly appreciated and can be given to the Camp Mother during SpiritQuest. If you need a benchmark – for a participant the value of this week is between $500-$800, and more for someone who is actually questing.

Thank you for helping us honor traditional ways as we make ceremonies accessible to all, knowing you will then add a supportive donation within your means to be generous.

Prices and Fees

Tent Camping
Traditionally those attending SpiritQuest camp and bring their own tent and camping gear. This year there are some other options (see below).

  $400 Adult — full week

  $202 Adult — half week

  $ 30 Child — Age 5-10

  $ 60 Child — Age 11-17

Children age 4 and under — donation at SpiritQuest, if the parents are inclined.

Tent & Bedding Rental
With some people flying in we do have limited tent or tent space, bedding or sleeping bags and towels available. There will be a small weekly fee. We recommend you check with us about availability before registering.  Email us at:  New Dream Foundation

  Linens, Bedding and Towels Rental — $15 per person per week

Cabin – Bunk Bed
With limited bed availability (8 total), elders and individuals with disabilities will be given first preference for sleeping in the cabin. You will need to provide your own bedding or sleeping bags. You can bring your own or rent linens, bedding and a towel for a weekly fee. We recommend you check with us about availability before registering for a cabin bed.  Email us at:  New Dream Foundation

Cancellation Fees
Before June 15, 2011: $25.00
After June 15, 2011: $45.00

Scholarship Application:
A limited number of scholarships are available. Request application questions and submit your answers to SpiritQuest Scholarship Info by May 15, 2011.

Payment options to best suits your needs:

• Pay by check
• Pay by credit card, with shopping cart to combine all the people you are bringing and extras.
• 3-payment option, available through April 15th. For adult, full-week with credit card payment only.

After You Register
After we receive your registration, you will receive a confirmation letter. Then, prior to quest, you will receive pertinent information you need, to get the most out of your experience. Also, be sure to read the pages, here on the website, in order to become better acquainted with your week-long spiritual retreat.
