Song Quest

Song Quest is an inward journey into your purpose and relationship to Spirit through sacred sound. It is very much like a vision quest, deepening your connection to the sacred within and around you. Establishing clarity about your purpose through one of your sacred songs may be one of the greatest gifts you give yourself in your lifetime.

Song Questers prepare for nearly a year before going to a sacred place on the Mother, away from the camp, fasting alone for up to three days where they ask Spirit to help them hear one of their sacred songs. Contact Reverend Misa for more information. See the Contact page here at this website.

During the quest time, many of us join together in a camp to lend all of our questers support in their sacred journey by keeping a sacred fire burning 24 hours per day, cherishing the silence at the fire that we know will bring them their songs.

Vision Quests and Rites of Passage Ceremonies for Adults

Life Purpose Vision Quest

Embracing our true purpose for being here is a critical milestone in any person's life, and ceremonies to honor this transition have been offered for centuries. Originally this ceremony was for young adults only, but so many of adults have not had the opportunity to quest for their purpose, that we it is now available for adults.

The Women's Water Ceremonies include a quest for women ready to discover their purpose. A special ceremony is available for men, intiated through the Sacred Fire.

For adults—Adults quest for a maximum of three days in silence with Mother Earth. During that time, they pray to receive insight about their primary purpose. This requires nearly a year of preparation with the Intercessor begining in September prior to quest.

For young adults—As part of their adulthood initiation, young adults will spend one night alone on the mother earth, questing for insight to their life purpose. At the end of ceremony they receive a spiritual name and are welcomed to the circle of adults. Initiates are expected to prepare with an Intercessor in September prior to SpiritQuest.

If you would like to learn more e-mail Reverend Misa. See the Contact page here at this website.

Women's Water Ceremony Keeper Initiations

Each year at the Women's Full Moon Water Ceremony, new apprentices of the Path of the Sacred Feminine and the water ceremonies are initiated at the sacred Water Bowl. Apprentices begin their preparations the September, 10 months prior to SpiritQuest. Apprenticeship

Honor Ceremonies
When you register for Quest you will receive information about the following ceremonies:

Ladies at SpiritQuest

Welcoming / Naming Ceremony for Adults
For many of us, our spiritual Life Purpose was not recognized and declared, as it was in tribal communities.

Our spiritual names have a way of helping us understand our reason for being here on earth. This ancient ceremony is intended to help individuals feel more grounded in their sense of mission through the acceptance of their name and the creation of their life necklace, in a Cherokee naming tradition.

One to two months preparation prior to SpiritQuest is recommended.

Welcoming / Naming Ceremony for Newborns and Children
Ancient ceremonies have long been performed to welcome a newborn child into the community and to offer prayers for the future of the child. Newborns and young children may be initiates in this ceremony at which time they will hear their life song and receive their spiritual name.

Parents have a couple of options as to which ceremony they prefer and should expect to contact the Intercessor and prepare at least a couple of months prior to SpiritQuest.

Sacred Awakening
This is a Spirutal Birth and Rebirth Welcoming Ceremony for all ages. This honor ceremony is intended to provide a person a means of expressing and committing to a new way of seeing themselves, and have this new personal commitment be recognized by a community that is willing to support them. A minimum of one month preparation is helpful.

The Divine Reunion: Reuniting with the Sacred Feminine and Masculine
This ceremony honors men and women who choose to honor the sacred masculine and the sacred feminine in a deeper way. Participants have an opportunity to release limiting beliefs about the masculine and feminine and embrace a new perspective which honors both. A minimum of one month preparation prior to SpiritQuest is helpful.

Women's Water Ceremony
This ancient Northwest Native Women's Ceremony, was given to us to share with women around the world. Water ritual has been performed in cultures around the earth for thousands of years, and women have a profound and unique relationship to the sacred nature of water.

As a part of The Path of the Sacred Feminine, this ceremony is offered on a full moon evening during SpiritQuest women are called to look deeply into the sacred water—and within themselves—so that they can receive insight into their lives, our future and the future of the planet. The women bring their healing prayers to the water of the earth and receive healing blessings from this sacred, natural element.

All women and girls who have begun their menses are welcome to participate in the Water Ceremony with no prior preparation. Path of the Sacred Feminine
