Prayer for 2012

Prayer for 2012

Ah Mystery of life
As I awaken to this time of great unfolding
This unveiling of myself
May I see the beauty you have always seen in me
May I know the wonder of you in everything I see

Let fear become my chance to transcend my self-perceived limits
And every prayer an opportunity to create life renewed
Peace and hope are the gifts I bring to those who are troubled for
I offer my sacred self as soothing balm to an aching world
I do not look for fulfillment outside myself,
But rather from the well of my own being
Where you wait for me to drink from the sweet nectar
That will set me free for all eternity

Ah Mystery of life
My senses quiver at your touch as you fill and fulfill me
In a pulse that is timeless and endless
Lift me up in ecstasy
So that I may widen the pathway to life without suffering
Not only for myself, but for all
That in the light of our evolution, earth may fulfill her destiny
As a safe, enduring, loving mother of the world to be

Reverend Misa~

That was a beautiful prayer. In my practice, I meet two types of
individuals, either those who are deathly afraid of the diabolical
events that are in the process of evolving, or those who believe
that it is nonsense.
This prayer will, I believe, help to alleviate the fear, and embrace
the beauty and love that mother earth offers us all. Fear breeds
fear, and we all have the ability to help her to heal if we recognize
that we are all one from source. When we love and respect her, we are in turn, loving and respecting ourselves. I believe that is the missing element in our human realm.

Blessings,
Reverend Linda

Reverend Linda,

Like you I find people would often prefer not to see at all what they deem to be painful or ugly—or outright deny its potential for existing, or those who are in such personal pain that the fears overwhelm them.  It is easy to see how one could approach the coming years from either of these perspectives.

Thank you for your comments about this prayer.  It is my fervent hope, that we as compassionate humans do not close our eyes to our own pain and suffering nor that of others; but rather, see personal or planetary crisis  as opportunities (a catapulting, so to speak) into our greatest light.

I agree, we are a part of the earth and she is part of us.  To live in love and respect for all of life, human or otherwise, is to embrace the greatest opportunity for humanity today in fulfilling a collective Divine destiny.

Please feel free to share this prayer with anyone you perceive would find comfort and hope in its words.

Thank you, sister, for seeing deeper truths and holding a light for others to see their own!

Hugs,
Reverend Misa
